Connectopia

AT&T

A New Expression of Connection

This is Connectopia—an immersive, AI-driven experience that blends physical architecture with responsive digital media to transform the Intuit Dome’s West Terrance into a living, breathing expression of innovation.

Portals: The Gateway to Imagination

Connectopia transforms the AT&T Deck at Intuit Dome into an environment where fans become creators. At four multi-touch Portals, guests imagine their own corner of the Connectopia world by choosing inspirations, environments, defining features, and residents. These simple inputs unlock an AI-driven worldbuilding engine that instantly generates a cinematic preview of their creation.

Your Lasting Creation

Once guests finalize their selections at the Portal, a QR code directs them to the mobile companion experience. Each visitor can preview their corner of Connectopia, check their countdown timer indicating their world tour on the big screen, and access a shareable link to their District Tour video.

A Seamless Journey

When a guest transmits their world, the Portal dissolves into a flowing synthesis animation across the Pixel Mesh—a perforated, light-reactive architectural skin that guides visitors into the Play Area.

A Collaborative Worldbuilding Experience

In the play area, each guest’s customized icon takes flight across a 30-foot parabolic 10K LED display, seeding a new region of the Connectopia planet. Each new District contributes to a living planet that grows and evolves with every visitor, symbolizing the power of creativity and collaboration.

The Connectopia AI Engine

Once a corner of Connectopia is imagined, our proprietary Connectopia AI model begins generating a custom 30-second 8K cinematic sequence in the background. By the time the guest arrives in the Play Area, their world is ready for its debut across the massive 30-foot parabolic LED display—an immersive, cinematic moment created in real time and unique to every visitor.

Dynamic Lighting Design

Robotic fixtures, architectural pinstriping, and synchronized LED accents elevate each moment within Connectopia. Lighting responds dynamically to incoming transmissions and the evolving Unreal Engine world, shaping anticipation and atmosphere as guests move through the space. Every reveal feels intentional and emotionally resonant.

Holographic Guidance

A custom hologram delivers instructional content featuring on-screen talent from the Clippers organization, enhanced with bespoke VFX and SFX. These guided moments introduce the experience, orient guests, and direct them toward the Portals. The hologram assembly—featuring multiple transparent OLED displays and synchronized lighting—is mounted to a purpose-built, waterproof mobile system. The mechanism allows the structure to move forward or backward and rotate 360 degrees, enabling precise fit-up with the surrounding architecture while providing secure access into the installation.

A Platform Built to Grow

The media system behind Connectopia was designed to be flexible and long-lasting. AT&T can evolve the content over time without altering the installation itself, allowing for rotating narratives, seasonal moments, live-event tie-ins, or new stories and experiences as the brand evolves. The Connectopia AI model is continuously updated as generative technologies advance, ensuring the experience remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with the latest capabilities.

Connected to the Halo

Connectopia outputs four simultaneous 8K signals to the Intuit Dome’s Halo system, giving the venue the ability to trigger custom features, in-game moments, and branded content at any time. A dedicated four-way split output allows all feeds to be shown simultaneously, enabling the Halo to present multiple Districts in a single synchronized view.

A custom web-based Connectopia Explorer allows key personnel to browse and select the most spectacular District Tour videos for live display, extending Connectopia’s presence throughout the entire arena.
